How do you put up with gas prices?

So, we all know that 4$ a gallon is pretty ridiculous...but look how some of the people in Indonesia deal with it. Do we think America will ever come to this? Just a thought.

"Police spray water cannons to disperse student protesters outside the parliament building in Jakarta June 24, 2008. Indonesian police used water cannons to disperse about 500 protesters who threw rocks and bamboo sticks at police and broke a parliament building fence on Tuesday to protest against a hike in fuel prices."

at least they weren't spraying gas out of the firehose...i mean that would be a REAL waste. plus, if it was gas they were spraying at them, it would be a most unfortunate circumstance for the guy throwing rocks and smoking at the same time!!
