my special brother gary

well, i guess its about time to update my blog. here is a good story. so gary, heidi and mia had to go down to provo last night, so holly and i hung out with them. it was a good time, first we played with mia at a park, while we waited for gary to finish his meeting, then we all went to "the brick oven." good food, great entertainment (mia) and the conversation was going well. suddenly mia knocked over her water cup, (you know, the typical cups you got all the time at big bee's...you know the ones...) with my spider sense tingling (or i wet myself) i quickly grabbed the cup in 'midflip,' luckily with the lid on, hardly spilling any...making me look like the hero, and not the tardo. holly was of course impressed, (who wouldn't be? except for i guess spiderman...sigh) and heidi commented to gary on how i also had cat-like reflexes. apparently also having other feline traits, i inquired of gary for the story. implying that he has these same super abilities, he turned to holly to let her in on this family secret... "you see holly, what you are marrying into..." suddenly heidi stiffens and starts nervously laughing, and the boy who apparently has quick relflexes slowy catches on, but not as slow as my dear brother telling the story. "well, i guess i am progressing your relationship for you." holly laughed also. but really, what do you say in that situation? well, you do what i do, just don't say anything and blush. i mean, i honestly wasn't embarrased, it wasn't a big deal, but come on, what else am i supposed to do? gary and i had a good laugh about it at the salad bar as i added more salad to my dressing. luckily it all ended well as we left the restaurant and i took holly's hand...and gary took mine.
