hi everyone. sorry for the huge delay of actual postings. life has just been uber busy...or i have just let my priorities get out of whack. okay. just wanted to share some tidbits from my life. not very exciting, or usual for 'pretty ryan' but i figured, oh well...i don't know why i figured that exact wordage, but there ya go.
"my ladyfriend is ever so amazin'"
the following pics were actually taken during the christmas season, but i enjoy them and plus i didn't have any good pics from holly and i's recent adventures. so, there i am saturday afternoon, staring blankly at the computer to get some work done when holly calls me," i need you to help me make a decision." scared at such an abrupt request, i still said i would help, to which she replied, "should i come up and see you now?" you see, holly is currently living in hurricane for a bit (its about a 4 and a 1/2 hour drive up to the sandy from the hurricane) and makes daily visible contact a little tricky...so after feeling dumb for her coming up for me, but then quickly very flattered, i 'allowed' her to come grace me with her presence. arriving later on that night, we kicked off our fun weekend. here it is in short form according to my view:
-went miniture golfing where i soundly wasted her, but helped her out by hitting my ball off the tee, which bounced off the wall, bounced into hers, and knocked her ball in for a very delayed hole-in-one. i then spent the next couple of minutes convincing her that i did it on purpose.-afterwards we watched 'Napoleon Dynamite' at my house. i was happy to discover that holly seems to enjoy this movie just as much as me.
-got up early the next morning to drive downtown and see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. a good time was had by all, except for the people from the deaf olympics who came, what were they thinking!
-then went to my parents ghetto ward (i.e. inner city mission ward.) and hung out old school....whatever that means.
-traveled home where holly (after my suggestions) wanted to see old family videos. i put in a video at one of my 'cute' ages and all went great until the part where gary has to carry me out of flaming gorge because the rocks were just too darn sharp for my tender feet. also my glistening white cheese roll body glistening in the sun didn't exactly help me score points either. but then holly pointed out that my dad's (as he walked in) fly was down.
-stopped by petersons to mooch some free superbowl food, then off to the provo to catch elder bednar's CES address. it was great even though holly kept yawning and trying to put her head on all the laps around her.
-afterwards just enjoyed some good ol' fashioned talkin' time.
thanks again holly. it was a super great weekend. not sure if anyone else cared to read it, but if you got this far, you did. ha!
school is going well. i am still enjoying industrial design, and feeling more and more out of place among hoity toity fancy studyin' byu students. but i love being there.work is also very exciting these days. i work for a company called "spin marketing." (www.thespin.info) we will be putting out a dvd to students in the utah and salt lake valleys as well as other projects. i do the advertising design. its a good time fer sure. anywho. we just moved offices on monday and for the first time in my life, i have a cubicle. i am so proud of this accomplishment. so proud in fact, that i took a picture of it.
oh yeah. i also woke up today with a cold sore on my pinkie knuckle AND on my lip. lucky me.

well. there you go. it was random, not very funny, but i like it, and its a post!

ooohhh ryan. i'm so mad. :) i did NOT point out that your dad's fly was down.
oh, and i like your cubicle. that's pretty sweet.
I love the cubicle!!! ...and i must admit I read the whole blog...and enjoyed it! i was even caught chuckling outloud here at the library @ ASU.
Excellent post Ryan. It's extra fun to read about your life. All I ask is that you take off the picture of you trying to lick Holly. Yuckers.
Holly, yer hair looks pretty. We should talk hair sometime, seeing as we both have curly locks.
i wasn't trying to lick her! i just had my tongue out for hilarity purposes and it kind of looks like that. plus, i don't think 'yuckers' is a word, even though i like it.
I tried to lick Holly once, but she poked me in the eye and told me to knock it off.
I personally like the word "Yuckers" Heidi. I think I am going to use it if you don't mind. I think if I'm going to continue reading Ryan's blog I will use it alot.
Youre dating the girl from That 70's Show? Awesome!
